I’m a creative operations strategist focused on intentional connections between people and process and place. I work with folks to turn their possibility into practice by building back-end infrastructure to function with integrity and impact. I think about capacity, day-to-day change, beauty, belonging, and equitable exchange on a regular basis. I adore weaving people and ideas together.
Currently, I
Run my own creative operations business, TAKE CARE TAKE ACTION. My current ongoing clients include champions in the circular economy: The Culture of Repair Project and Blue Daisi Consulting. My books are re-opening in February 2026!

Celebrate what long-term individual and communal commitment looks like: and am reflecting on what my October wedding was all about and what it meant for me and my community (and, of course, my husband!).
+
Meet with Zero Waste Madison to consider how our neighborhoods can function with less waste. We want to host a repair cafe in Spring 2026 if you’d like to collaborate!
Previously, I
Hosted ANNUAL ALIGNMENT, a two hour end or start of year reflection workshop for intentional individuals and small business looking to assess how their year went, and where they hope to go in the year ahead.
+
Co-Directed The Maintainers, a global research and practice network. I led a fiscal sponsorship transition, archived the organization’s knowledge base on Open Science Framework, hosted 20+ curated virtual events, and 3 years worth of Monthly Maintenance Sessions. I also co-authored The Maintainers Study Guide.
+
Partnered with University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Guaranteed Income Research as Research Fellow. I coordinated data collection with over over 300 study participants.
+
Supported over 15 small businesses and entrepreneurs in turning ideas into actionable, sustainable ventures.
+
Have lived in Iowa City, IA; Galesburg, IL; Ithaca, NY; and Madison, WI
+
Designed and launched an advisory council for early-career teachers, strengthening recruitment and retention as Assistant Director of the Rural Schools Collaborative.

Got my BA in Sustainable Social Change, a self-designed major at Knox College. I participated in three immersive experiences: on a 700-acre biological field station; as an ethnographer interviewing midwives in Santa Catarina, Guatemala; and in Start-Up Term, launching Blue Brick Collective. I was the post-baccalaureate for Green Oaks Term after graduation.
