I'm Liliana (she/her) ~ a systems, rhythms + cycles enthusiast.
I build and tend operational and relational infrastructure that makes impact-drive work possible.
I'm great at seeing the connections between people, ideas, and possibilities, and figuring out what it takes to bring them together. I've been called "one resourceful gal!" more than once, and I think that comes from my ability to put meaningful projects into action.
Why operations and relations?
For some, operations work and relationship building happens behind the scenes, far from the action. I see it differently: the systems, rhythms, and maintenance that support a project aren't separate from the work — they're what make the work possible. My goal isn't to impose a perfect system, but to build structures that actually fit the way you work.
How I got here
I've always taken the roundabout path. In college I self-designed a major in sustainable social change. Afterward, I landed jobs and projects that didn’t necessarily fit neatly into one category. In 2022, I began offering what I called "Creative Project Support," working alongside small nonprofits, creative leaders, and vision-driven projects.

Client Work
I work with individuals and small businesses to support their creative and operational infrastructure. Have a project you’ve been meaning to start? If you’re working on something that matters and you need someone to help build the container for it, let’s chat. “Take Care Take Action” has been the name of my consulting business since 2022, and in 2026 I rebranded the consultancy to my name.

I steward Litterless, a state-by-state directory of refilleries and compost businesses — a resource for people who want to live with less waste and more intention in their communities and as they travel the United States. A no-cost directory to support everything you need to make less waste, all in one place!

The Culture of Repair Project
I serve as the consulting operations lead for The Culture of Repair Project, a visionary initiative working to bring repair education into K-12 classrooms across the globe. I help to shape the operational direction of the project and build the workflows and digital infrastructure that allows its vision to gain traction.

Zero Waste Madison
A community-group committed to celebrating lower-waste lifestyles and economies in the Greater Madison, WI area. I’m especially excited about empowering the 5,000+ person facebook page to get offline and organize IRL!

The Willing Workshop
I’m in the process of building out a community-wide power and action map that will be translatable into a session-based gathering I’m calling The Willing Workshop. It will be a combination of self-inquiry and locally-focused organizing tactics to identify pathways toward positive change in our community here in Madison, WI.

Previously, I ~
Hosted ANNUAL ALIGNMENT, a two hour end or start of year reflection workshop for intentional individuals and small business looking to assess how their year went, and where they hope to go in the year ahead.

Was the Operations Assistant at Blue Daisi Consulting, a zero-waste firm based out of Washington State.

Co-Directed The Maintainers, a global research and practice network. I led a fiscal sponsorship transition, archived the entire organization’s knowledge base, hosted 20+ curated virtual events, and 3 years worth of Monthly Maintenance Sessions. I also co-authored The Maintainers Study Guide.

Partnered with University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Guaranteed Income Research as Research Fellow. I coordinated data collection with over 300 study participants in Ithaca, NY.

Independently supported over 31 small businesses and entrepreneurs in turning ideas into actionable, sustainable ventures.

Designed and launched an advisory council for early-career teachers, strengthening recruitment and retention as Assistant Director of the Rural Schools Collaborative.

Self-Designed my BA in Sustainable Social Change at Knox College. I participated in three unique immersive experiences: on a 700-acre biological field station; as an ethnographer interviewing midwives in Santa Catarina Palopó, Guatemala; and in Start-Up Term, launching Blue Brick Collective. I was the post-baccalaureate for Green Oaks Term after graduation.
